Imoved to Portland, Oregon in early February, basically to reboot my life and get it started in a new, fresh place. It's changed my art a lot, changed me a lot. And I know the changes aren't even done yet. I'll take pix and scan stuff pretty soon - I did do some work during the nonupdated span on this account.

By the way, I'm looking for a good job in the Portland area. I do graphic design, illustration, collage, art, and I can answer phones/customer service/data entry as only an above-average temp can. So if you have any leads I'd appreciate them, or if you want a commission we can work something out, mmmkay? It would be helpful.

Why is this my work with the most views now? Does anybody know if it was linked somewhere or featured somewhere or something? It's got over 1500 views! My collage work didn't seem to get that much attention before. o_o It's certainly encouragement to post more collage and assemblage. Is that what you're telling me, DA?

So, a new Slayers season is coming up! Slayers Revolution. o_o You've probably heard about this by now, but heck, how can I not say something? I never thought we'd get more Slayers!

Sidenote - did not those Funimation DVD rerelease box sets suck? I don't think I've been more disappointed with an anime release. Seriously, if you own the CPM release and yours doesn't have any audio problems with the first season, just don't even fucking bother. It's the same subtitles and same everything. They still say "mazoku". No translation corrections whatsoever. If they fixed the dub, I don't even really care by this point, since I never watch it. I'd usually say "buy it to support Slayers and encourage them!" but you know what? I don't believe in encouraging a shit job on something, and I call it when I see it.

Sorry to have such a negative note there, but honest Irk is honest. Don't buy these DVDs, they are not worth your money unless you don't have Slayers yet. In which case I would say yes, go ahead and buy them. At least they're cheap.
