Illustration for In the Court of the Peacock King chapter 31 - The Heart That Rooted Itself in the Forest.

It was nice to draw a young version of Mr. Hair. I wonder how much better his back was then.

did the inks for this one! I did the colors in PaintTool SAI, which I've fallen in love with over the course of a night. This is the first picture I've colored in it. The watercolors are just wonderful. Char inked in SAI too, so most of this piece was SAI. (I did the sketching in Painter X.)
